CAC Bishop Primus, Archbishop Chuck Travis, is calling every priest and deacon of the Confessing Anglican Church to attend the first Clericus of 2027.

📅 Date: January 16, 2027
🕛 Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Eastern
🌎 Format: Communion-wide gathering of clergy from the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom

What Is a Clericus?

A Clericus is a formal gathering of clergy for prayer, strengthening of fellowship, teaching, discussion, mutual encouragement, and alignment in ministry. Historically, clergy have gathered in this way to deepen unity, sharpen mission, and receive guidance for the work of Christ’s Church.

In the Confessing Anglican Church, the Clericus serves as a vital point of connection, formation, and mission for our priests and deacons.

A Must-Attend Gathering

This Clericus is not simply another meeting.

It is a strategic and spiritually significant gathering designed to strengthen the identity, unity, and mission of the Confessing Anglican Church.

Drawing upon the exhortation of 2 Peter 1, we are reminded to “make every effort” to grow in the knowledge and virtues provided through Christ’s divine power, so that we will not be ineffective or unfruitful in our ministry.

As a confessing, courageous, and orthodox Anglican Communion, we gather to:

✅ Strengthen our Anglican identity rooted in Scripture and the historic faith

✅ Reinforce clarity of doctrine, mission, and direction

✅ Renew our commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and parish vitality

✅ Stand shoulder-to-shoulder in Christian fellowship across nations

✅ Encourage one another in courage, resolve, and faithful leadership

As Scripture teaches, “iron sharpens iron.” Yet iron can only sharpen iron when the blades come into direct contact. This gathering provides that opportunity for meaningful engagement, encouragement, and mutual strengthening.
